King and Queen of Health 1972A special library collection at NC State University showcases the history of North Carolina 4-H from its beginnings through the 1970s. Featuring thousands of digitized documents and photos, the Green ‘N’ Growing collection is an online museum housing 4-H artifacts from all over the state. The web site includes indexed mementos from eight decades of local, county, state, and national 4-H events and activities that involved North Carolina 4-H members, volunteers, alumni, and employees. The collection features scenes from annual 4-H health pageants, officer elections, camps, talent shows, fashion revues, livestock shows, and speaking contests, as well as from State 4-H Club Week, N.C. 4-H Electric Congress, and National 4-H Congress.
