IMG_0802 On April 21, 2016 Carteret County 4-H hosted a county wide science fair for youth ages 5 -13. 44 youth participated in the event. The topics ranged from Volcanoes to The Effects of Sleep Deprivation on Gross Motor Skills. The youth chose a topic of interest that was either investigative science or demonstrative science and were divided into three age groups. The cloverbuds (5 – 8 year olds) all received participation ribbons for a job well done. The 9 – 10 year olds and 11 – 13 year olds competed for first, second and third place. The winners were as followed
