Although Carteret Big Sweep encourages year-round clean ups we still believe that the 3rd Saturday in October is special. This date has traditionally been the fall clean up date for many many years. Can everyone that is planning on doing a clean up on this date or during the fall to contact us to verify that you will be participating again this year and let me know your location. Locations are on a first come, first clean basis.

Typically October is our busiest cleanup month of the year. I cannot stress enough how important it is to contact us with your cleanup location and date. We do not want to leave one area of the county dirty with another area saturated with groups of volunteers cleaning cleaned areas.
