Carteret County 4-H’ers, Kacey F. and Gracie H., attended the 2019 Southeast District Teen Retreat on April 26 and 27 at Fort Caswell, NC along with over 80 other youth. While there, 4-H’ers had an opportunity to tour the fort, go crabbing, learn about squid through dissection and participate in other workshops led by current District and State Officers. Before adjourning, new Southeast District officers were elected and Carteret County 4-H was awarded the District Spirit Stick.
