About the Online Series
Online Med Instead of Meds is a virtual, six-session class series focused on healthy eating Mediterranean-style (i.e., eating the Med Way).
The sessions will be delivered live through Zoom every Tuesday, September 1–October 6, 2020, at 1–2 p.m. Classes will focus on the Simple Steps to eating the Med Way. Each session will explore 1 or 2 of these steps, a mindfulness skill, and features Med Way recipes. Food demonstration and/or cooking instruction is included in each session. Past participants of the class have walked away with skills to make a positive change in their way of thinking about eating.
All information and Zoom links will be emailed to participants on August 28 from Stephanie Stevenson. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Stephanie Stevenson, FCS Agent, at Stephanie_Stevenson@ncsu.edu.
