Time: 8 a.m.–noon

Agents in Wilkes, Yadkin, Stokes, Surry, Forsyth, Davie, Craven, and Carteret Counties are partnering to host a virtual hemp research update featuring specialists from NC State University and a grower panel.

The program will feature updates on Hemp strain trial results, insect and disease concerns and management, hemp program legal status, and marketing hemp in a volatile market. The information will be most pertinent to those growing hemp in North Carolina or considering incorporating hemp into their North Carolina farm operations.

This will be held virtually via Zoom, an online meeting platform. Participants must register in advance on the Eventbrite page. Those who register will receive information through email on how to join the meeting.

One pesticide credit will be offered (N,D,O,X), and is pending approval from the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
