Here's another episode of Extension Gardener on the Crystal Coast with Shawn Banks, Director, N.C. Cooperative Extension Carteret County and Horticulture Agent.

Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Carteret County and I got together on Saturday, February 18, to assemble and fill the raised beds at the Goodness Garden. It was hard work, but we got it (mostly) done in one day. We are ready to start planting.

The Goodness Garden will help us provide educational programming on horticultural techniques used to raise vegetables in our area. The vegetables and herbs grown in the garden will be donated to the Storehouse Food Pantry in Morehead City. Funds for the garden improvements were donated by citizens of Carteret County.
