Here’s the latest update on the native plant garden installation at the NC State University CMAST building on the campus of Carteret Community College.
Last week, the crepe myrtles trees that lined the sidewalk leading to the entrance of the building were cut down. Watch as Shawn Banks, N.C. Cooperative Extension director and horticulture agent in Carteret County gets rid of the stumps to make way for the new plants selected for this harsh coastal environment that will be planted in November.
