Collapse ▲2021 Carteret County 4-H Photography Contest
Carteret County 4-H and Carteret County Farm Bureau will host a county Photography Contest for youth, ages 5-18, who reside in Carteret County. This year’s categories are (1) 4-H in Action (2) Nature’s Beauty and (3) My Best Friend. Participants do not have to be 4-H’ers to participate at the county level.
Photos should be submitted online to the Carteret County 4-H office no later than Friday, July 30.
All participants will be recognized and winning photographers will receive prizes, provided by Carteret County Farm Bureau.
Rules:
- The county contest is open to any youth, ages 5-18, who reside in Carteret County.
- All entry photos must have been taken by the youth during 2021.
- Youth must enter their photos within the age division that applies (Cloverbud; 5-7 years old, Junior; 8-10 years old, Intermediate; 11-13 years old, Senior; 14-18).
- Each youth may enter one photo in each of the three categories.
- The same image may be entered in more than one category if it applies to each category.
- Photos can be in color OR black-and-white, but otherwise, unaltered.
- 4-H’ers will have the option to submit their photos to the State level.

This year’s county contest will lead up to the State Photography Contest. Youth, ages 8-18, are also eligible to participate at the State level. Entries for the State contest are due to the county 4-H office by Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
