Project Record Books moving onto District Competition
The 4-H program has a long history of record keeping. In 4-H, youth track their activities, events, skill development, and learning experiences, and much more using the 4-H Project Record Book. Each year, participating youth submit a Project Record Book at the County level for judging. Youth enter in their age group in one of the following categories:
- Animal Science
- Citizenship & Civic Education
- Communication Arts
- Environmental Science
- Family & Consumer Sciences
- Healthy Lifestyles
- Plant Science
- Personal Development & Leadership
- Science & Technology
Project Record Books:
-give youth an opportunity to reflect on what they’ve learned and accomplished through a year.
-document new skills and experiences in a written report to measure their achievements and growth.
-encourage youth to set goals, pursue strategies to meet those goals, and to overcome obstacles.
A huge shout out goes to all the youth who submitted Project Record Books at the County Level this year.
