Collard Greens and Cabbage

I think it’s time to expand my vegetable garden area. I want to add more space for collard greens and cabbage. It’s getting close to the end of the time to plant these crops, but I should be ok if I get them into the ground before the middle of the month. The good thing about these two crops is that they will continue to grow through the winter until we have about a week of warmer temperatures. By that I mean temperatures above 70. When that happens, they may bolt (form flowers) and get bitter.

I should also have time to grow some leaf lettuce, spinach, carrots and radish if I get them in the ground quickly.
