As I mentioned earlier, it’s been cold or wet or both most weekends in February, so I haven’t had the chance to plant my vegetable garden yet. Now that there is an hour or so of sunlight when I get home from work, I’m going to get the garden ready and plant some vegetables.

Potatoes and garden peas did really well in the garden last year. I think I’ll move them around though a bit and plant them again this year. It’s also time to plant some carrots, which I think I’ll put in a container this year and some beets (most likely in a container as well). I’m going to simplify how much I plant this year and try to grow those few items really well.

I’m so excited to get started. All I need now is some warm weather.
