Several small limbs on this magnolia plant have died. I wanted to know why, and I wanted to share the process of how I came to the conclusion of the problem. I identify the tree, describe the problem, and show how I took a closer look at the samples taken to see if I could identify the problem. I sent a sample to the Plant Disease and Insect Clinic at NC State University to have them identify the problem more accurately.
