Soil Sample Testing for Garden Prep

(Updated: Feb. 22, 2024, 9:13 a.m.)

Have you ever taken a soil sample for testing before or has it been years since you’ve done one?

If you’ve never done one before the video below will talk you through the easy process in the just a few steps. If it’s been a couple years since a soil sample was taken, now would be a good time to do that. Taking soil samples every couple of years and keeping a record shows how much the pH might be changing and gives an idea of what kind of nutrients might be needed for the plants for the next growing season.
