2023 Carteret County 4-H Photography Contest
Each year, North Carolina 4-H, hosts the Dr. Kim Ingold 4-H Photography Contest. Dr. Ingold developed her love of photography as a Stanly County 4-H member. Throughout her 4-H career, she was involved in county, district and state events, further developing her photography skills. In her memory, an annual photograph contest is offered to 4-H youth across the state.
Carteret County 4-H mirrors that contest at the county level each year. Registration for the 2023 Carteret County 4-H Photography Contest is now open and will remain open until 5 p.m. on July 19, 2023.
Youth, ages 5-18, will have the opportunity to submit pictures into three categories: 4-H in Action, Nature’s Beauty and Special Effects. Additionally, NEW this year, adults will be able to enter pictures in the 4-H in Action category. For more information on the Special Effects category, visit the NC 4-H Photography Contest page.
After submission to the county level, 4-H’ers who are 8 years old and up will have the opportunity to submit their photographs to the state level.
