Come grow with us if you have an interest in gardening and a willingness to volunteer and share your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to make a positive impact in our local community.

Master Gardener℠ Training Class, will be held Tuesdays, March 5 – May 28, at the N.C. Cooperative Extension – Carteret County Center, CMAST Bldg, 303 College Circle, 3rd floor, room 306, in Morehead City on the Carteret Community College Campus.

Trained by NC State faculty and staff, Extension Master Gardener Volunteers provide research-based information about gardening and environmental stewardship to individuals and communities. EMGVs engage the community through education and outreach on a wide variety of subjects and through a broad spectrum of projects, all designed to maximize their impact. Deadline for Master Gardener applications is February 16, 2024.
