- $10 entry fee
- No experience or chickens needed to participate
- Youth need to submit registration form and payment no later than Monday, October 7.

Dog Show hosted by Carteret County 4-H Canine Club
- Saturday, October 19 at Sound Dog Training Center, 612 Tom Mann Rd, Newport
- Ages 8-18
- FREE to participate
- Costume contest and Best Trick contest for youth and their canine companions. Members of the Canine Club will be providing Rally and Agility demonstrations as well.
- Open to the public to come and watch.

Self Care Camp
- November 1, 9-4 p.m. at the 4-H Office, 303 College Circle, MHC (CCPS Workday)
- Ages 8-18
- $30 covers snack, lunch and make and take goodies
- Focus on physical, mental and emotional health.
