Join Mike Campbell from NC Wildlife Resources Commission to view some year round and migratory birds in the western part of Carteret County.
Coastal North Carolina is a major breeding spot for neotropical migratory birds. These birds winter in Central and South America, and make their summer home in this area. The NC Wildlife Resources Commission is offering a class where we will identify these well-traveled birds, as well as other birds that are here year-round, by sight and sound.
We will explore different areas and habitats in and around the Croatan National Forest and the Emerald Isle area. We will meet near Emerald Isle at the Cedar Point Recreation Area.
Let us know if you plan to attend by contacting Shawn Banks at 252 222-6352 or email@example.com.
