It’s nearing the end of October. Here on the coast it’s not too late to plant short season fall vegetable crops like lettuce and radish. Sometimes planting seeds in containers can be a little daunting. In the video, Shawn describes how to plant lettuce and radish seeds. These same techniques can be used for other seeds too. Crops with small seeds like carrots, turnips and rutabagas can be planted similar to the lettuce seeds in the video. Likewise, crops with larger seeds can be planted like the radish seeds. The spacing might be different for other seeds, but the principles are the same. Enjoy the video.
