Extension Master GardenerSM Volunteer Association of Carteret County will present their annual speaker program free to the public on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City.

Lisa Rayburn is employed with NC State University as an area extension agent and will present on “Backyard Food Gardening.” Ms. Rayburn has responsibility for commercial horticulture working with fruit and vegetable growers in Jones, Onslow, Lenoir and Craven counties. Prior to this position, Lisa worked as a commercial horticulture agent in Onslow County working with Master Gardener Volunteers and the green industry.
